What is natural red wine?
Natural red wine is made with minimal human intervention. Unlike conventional wines, it’s produced without synthetic additives, industrial yeasts, or added sulfites (or in very low quantities). The grapes are typically grown using organic or biodynamic farming methods. The result is a wine that truly reflects its terroir, the vintage, and the winemaker’s craft—without manipulation.

Choosing natural red wine is an ethical, ecological, and sensory decision. These wines respect the soil, the vine, and the people who drink them. Thanks to their low sulfite content, they are often easier to digest. On the palate, they offer a unique, vibrant experience—pure fruit, bold aromas, and genuine character. How is it made?
The process begins in the vineyard, where grapes are grown without pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers. Harvesting is usually done by hand to preserve the quality of the fruit. In the cellar, fermentation relies on native yeasts naturally present on the grape skins. The wine is neither filtered nor fined, and added sulfites are kept to a bare minimum—or avoided altogether. This requires great skill from the winemaker, as there’s no artificial correction: the wine is a pure expression of nature.
How to enjoy natural red wine?
Natural red wine is a living product—it should be approached with curiosity and care. It may contain some natural sediment or slight effervescence, signs of its vitality. Serve it slightly cool (around 14–16°C / 57–61°F), and consider decanting it to help it open up. It pairs beautifully with seasonal dishes, vegetarian cuisine, grilled meats, or aged cheeses. Best enjoyed in good company, it often becomes a great conversation starter!

Les raisins proviennent des domaines, où les vins sont vinifiés, élevés, mis en bouteille et conditionnés. À l’opposé de notre époque individualiste, nous travaillons en collectif avec nos amis vignerons, femmes et hommes, engagés dans une agronomie saine et précise, une vinification naturelle et douce ».
